The classification of copper and copper alloys in my country is customarily classified by color and generally divided into four categories:
1. Red copper: refers to pure copper, the main stainless steel lock varieties include oxygen-free copper, red copper, phosphorus deoxidized copper, and silver copper;

2. Brass: refers to the alloy based on copper and zinc, and the copper padlock can be subdivided into simple brass and complex brass. In the complex brass, the third component is named nickel brass and silicon brass. Wait;

3. Bronze: refers to the copper-based alloy of gun locks other than copper-nickel and copper-zinc alloys. The main varieties are tin bronze, aluminum bronze, and special bronze (also known as high copper alloy);

4. Cupronickel: refers to copper-nickel alloys;

The standardization of copper and copper alloys in my country is progressing rapidly. The national standards for copper are divided into four categories:

One is the basic standard, in which GB5231-2001 stipulates the chemical composition and product shape of processed copper and copper alloy;

The second is the chemical analysis method standard, which specifies the chemical analysis method of the main components and impurity elements in copper and alloys;

The third is the physical and chemical performance test methods, including electrical resistivity, ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, residual stress, dezincification corrosion, oxygen content of oxygen-free copper, fracture, grain size, etc.; the fourth is product standards, including cathodes Standards for copper, copper wire ingots for electrical purposes, cast brass ingots, cast bronze ingots, blister copper, copper sulfate, copper beryllium master alloys, copper master alloys, copper concentrates, and copper and alloy processing materials.

In addition to national standards, my country’s keyed alike padlock also has industry standards and corporate standards. In order to meet the needs of product development, both the supplier and the demander can also negotiate special technical conditions.
