So I went to try out the new ability, and OSRS buy gold it is super fun. It's all the components: Rewarding, enjoyable and lore-wise exciting. In which you stay at precisely the same place the majority of the time the skill is not only a skill that is boring. You go forth and back between some locations that are gorgeous all the way from lvl 1 to 99. As a bonus, there's mysteries you can find while training it, which are similar to some small quests- that they reward you with a small quantity of exp after completing, and theres tetracompass bits you'll be able to collect that are similar to hint scrolls with new rewards, and at higher level you can collect some uncommon weapon pieces which can be substituted for a great deal of gp. The concept behind the skill is amazing, and I think something would fit OSRS perfectly. Has anyone tried it out? If this is the case, what's your opinion?
I found Archeology slow and incredibly boring. The lore is cool but that's kinda it. Having played RS3 a nice piece the last couple months, what I want in OSRS is more quests. RS3 is well worth playing with the quests. I don't remember the xp speeds. I have not gone back and did it a couple months ago. I do remember you get very little xp till you can repair an item it provides a large boost. Getting that merchandise is slow though. I found an slog and it unbelievably slow. I can't think of a ability to train.
I definitely think osrs needs a skill that's in agreement with the current speed/pace of gambling. It would be wonderful to have a skill that isn't such a grind. A good deal of us are comfortable and embrace the grind since it's all we know. I feel like it puts off a lot of new players. Would be great for players when there was more interactive skill which didn't feel like such a tireless slog and actually rewarding in brief bursts. Osrs has done really well with in this regard to PVM with the mechanics for supervisors. Stuff like zalcono, gauntlet as well as the agility are all great steps in the right direction. It has been refreshing to see a new way to train skills.
I think it could be well done and received by the community, if jagex implemented all this to a brand new ability. I think hallowed sepulchre is a fantastic model of how content that is skilling should be designed by them. The XP rates should be equal or reduced to meta training, but also make it engaging and enjoyable to perform. I do runs in xp an hour than seers in 50k, since I can enjoy the sepulchre for an hour. People so often get mad at eliminating"the grind", but it is still gonna taken dozens of hours to maximum a skill with engaging content should you create the xp rates the same as current training procedures. The grind will just be a game instead of spam clicking.
Imo you have it backwards. Meta due to clicks and attention required ought to not be in xp or xp than Sepulchre. Enjoyment should not be a factor. End game supervisors require large focus for good benefit. The same is required by sepulchre. Agree with the philosophy, although I think sweaty people whine when new coaching approaches come out that are meta xp prices, so it's probably tough to pass changes that transcend current training methods. Plus a gp component is we are ignoring in this. Sepulchre makes more money than rooftop classes, so that should be accounted for rs gold 2007 in xp prices.
