Door lock installation steps

In one step, compare the height required for the installation of the lock, and punch holes at the appropriate positions. The size of the holes should match the lock body. In the second step, install the lock body into the hole. After setting it up, tighten the two self-tapping screws first. The third step is to insert the square rod into the hole of the square rod, install the external handle parts, align them, and then tighten the two self-tapping screws. The fourth step is to install the inner handle part of the lock, and after the same alignment, tighten the two self-tapping screws. The fifth step is to insert the one-way lock head from the inner handle side into the lock hole. The sixth step is to insert the M5 set screw into the hole of the lock head panel, and then align the one-way lock head, align the M5 threaded hole, and then tighten it.
Lock tongue solution
Of course, when the laminated steel padlock is actually installed in the room, it is not ruled out that it will be installed in the wrong direction. If you find that the slanting tongue of the lock is opposite to the opening direction of the door, you need to perform the following steps at this time. First, pull off the slanting tongue stop plate and push the slanting tongue into the adjustment hole of the slanting tongue by hand. Then, after rotating the slanting tongue by 180°, loosen it, and the problem is solved at this time. When installing the door lock, there will be other problems.
