A swath of upcoming adidas Yeezy releases are scheduled to hit shelves over the next few months, and one of the pairs that’s set to release is this new “Salt” take on the Adidas Yeezy 500 Women. Calling upon the same tonal aesthetic as past 500 releases, the “Salt” utilizes a light grey hue that covers the upper’s mix of leather and suede, while an ever-so-slight contrast is provided by the grey suede overlays and eyelets. The retro-styled “Feet You Wear” outsole with adiprene cushioning returns as well to complete the look.
Initially, the Adidas Yeezy 500 Men “Super Moon Yellow” released as part of an egregious $760 bundle that included two articles of clothing from Kanye’s Season 6 line. After months of speculation surrounding whether or not the original 500 would hit shelves devoid of extra baggage, a release date finally surfaced. And with adidas tweeting out that they would be taking part in the drop this morning, we now have a better idea of what to expect as far as Yeezy retailers go.
Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy brand continues to grow, and so do the stock numbers of his sneaker releases. While this has become a welcomed change of pace for those looking to secure each and every pair, the air of exclusivity among new Yeezy drops has certainly decreased, but that doesn’t mean securing a pair will be a walk in the park. Tomorrow, the third colorway of the Adidas Yeezy 500 Sale is scheduled to hit retailers all around the world, coming dressed entirely in Utility Black.
To follow up on the blacked-out pair this past summer, the Adidas Yeezy 500 Cheap will be the next iteration of the silhouette, and it’s releasing this month. Featuring a clean neutral hue across its mixed material upper made of mesh, leather and suede overlays, the chunky and layered style is completed with a matching adiprene rubber sole that is designed with varying patterns that continues on the outsole.
